Donna Summer posthumous induction into Songwriters Hall of Fame

Legendary singer and songwriter Donna Sumer was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame on December 15, 2025.

The defining voice of the disco era and sampled in hundreds of classic and contemporary dance records Donna Summers impact on music runs deep. Having penned Love to Love you Baby, I feel love, Bad Girls, Dim all the Lights, On the Radio and many many others she sold over 150 million records worldwide and numerous Billboard Top 100 accolades.

Todd Terry, Raekwon, Cassius, Timberland, Underworld, Dr Dre, Nas, A tribe called quest....the list is literally endless, have all sampled a Donna Summer track.

Donna Summer sadly left us in 2012 but finally gets the recognition she deserves as a songwriter.
