Check this! Empty for over 60 years is Packard Automotive Plant. The infamous location which sparked the warehouse parties in the late '90s of Richie Hawtin's famed Spastik.
The plans to transform the 28-acre southern half of the factory include a multi-purpose development. Housing, an indoor skatepark, two acres of indoor/outdoor public space and recreation areas, and the Museum of Detroit Electronic Music (MODEM).
Still to be approved and so lets cross those fingers!
