Preparation Checklist

How To Prepare Your Files

Follow these 4 simple steps before sending your tracks for mixing or mastering.

01

Stem Rendering

Export your audio files as 24-bit or 32-bit float WAV/AIFF at their native sample rate (44.1kHz to 96kHz). Avoid MP3 or compressed exports.

02

Bypass Master Bus Effects

Turn off limiters, heavy clippers, or master bus EQs on your master channel so your track has its natural dynamics intact.

03

Check Your Headroom

Ensure your master output peaks between -3dB and -10dB. Avoid digital clipping or pushing into the red on your master fader.

04

Name & Zip Your Stems

For stem mixing, export dry, unclipped stems. Name the stems logically (e.g., Kick.wav, Sub.wav). Zip the stems and send to the studio drive location provided.
